Anger Management

Anger is a natural emotion that arises when we feel threatened, frustrated, or misunderstood. It’s part of our built-in fight-or-flight response, releasing adrenaline to prepare us to defend ourselves. While this reaction can be helpful in genuine danger, frequent or intense anger can spill into everyday life, particularly relationships, leading to outbursts, tension, arguments, physical symptoms such as headaches or raised blood pressure, and feelings of regret, overwhelm, or low mood.

At myhappimind, I use a blend of Solution Focused Brief Therapy, hypnotherapy, and brain-based education to help you understand what’s happening internally when anger takes hold. Rather than revisiting past problems, we focus on your existing strengths and the changes you want to make.

Together, we explore practical strategies to reduce stress, calm the mind, and support healthy emotional regulation. This helps you feel more in control and better able to respond thoughtfully, rather than reacting automatically in the moment.
